It was produced by Assolombarda, Confindustria Genova, and the Unione Industriale di Torino—the promoters of the analysis—alongside Confindustria Emilia-Romagna, Confindustria Friuli Venezia Giulia, Confindustria Liguria, Confindustria Lombardia, Confindustria Piemonte, Confindustria Trento, Assoimprenditori Alto Adige, and Confindustria Veneto.
