
The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for the SME Instrument Phase II programme for the 09/01/2019 deadline. Out of 1,752 proposals received, 64 were selected for funding, involving a total of 68 SMEs, representing a success rate of 3.7%.
For this deadline, Italy recorded 4 companies and as many projects funded, including one Lombardy-based firm, Xnext srl (www.x-next.com) from Milan, with the project “XSpectra: The Most Advanced Real Time Food Contaminants Detector”
Spain is the leading country in terms of the number of beneficiaries with 9 SMEs selected, followed by Israel with 7 companies and Germany with 5.
