Internships for digital skills

As part of the “Digitising European Industry” EU strategy, the Digital Opportunity Traineeships initiative has been launched. Its objective is to develop digital skills in cybersecurity, big data, quantum technology, machine learning and digital marketing for 6,000 students and recent graduates, enrolled at a university based in one of the 33 Erasmus+ Programme countries or Horizon 2020 associated states, through traineeships at companies, chambers of commerce and business associations. Traineeships must meet the following requirements

  • Duration, from 2 to 12 months, starting from June 2018 through to 2020
  • Monthly allowance for the trainee, amounting to €500, funded by the University (ERASMUS+ resources)
  • How to participate in the programme

Publish job offers on the Drop’pin@EURES or ErasmusIntern websites and mark them as Digital Opportunity Traineeships, or establish direct contact with universities to advertise your traineeship vacancies.

Check ERASMUS+ programme opportunities with your university’s international relations office.

MATCHING and SELECTION

Via the platform where the offer is published.

In parallel, universities pre-select candidates who meet the Erasmus+ traineeship criteria, in accordance with the Programme guidelines
