
The European Commission has published the results of the June cut-off for the SME Instrument Phase 2. Out of 1,514 project proposals submitted, the Commission has selected 64 SMEs from 16 countries, allocating a total of €96.815 million for the implementation of 57 projects.
With 12 winning SMEs, Spain has the highest number of beneficiary companies. This is followed by Denmark with 8 winners, and France and Italy with 7 each.
Among the winning Italian companies is Lombardy-based Produtech S.r.l. from San Paolo d'Argon (BG).
The majority of the funded projects are in the transport (10) and ICT (9) sectors. For Phase 2, beneficiary companies will receive up to €2.5 million each (€5 million for projects in the health sector).
The next deadline for Phase 2 is 18 October 2017.
