
The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for the SME Instrument Phase II for the 25/11/2015 deadline. Out of 1,090 proposals received, 425 were evaluated above the threshold and 30 were selected for funding, involving a total of 45 beneficiaries.
Italy ranks second with 6 funded companies and 2 projects totalling €4.3 million, just behind the United Kingdom with 7 beneficiaries. Two Lombardy-based companies are among the beneficiaries: the Milan-based spin-off Proxentia and the Bergamo-based company ODL, which submitted the STEFY project in partnership with Enologica Vason SPA of Verona.
There were 46 proposals from Italian companies that received an evaluation above the threshold but were not selected for funding.
