Seminar “SMEs in the 2021-2027 EU funding programmes” - Brussels, 19 September 2019

We are pleased to announce the seminar entitled "SMEs in EU funding programmes 2021-2027", organised by the Confindustria Delegation to the EU in conjunction with the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union. The event aims to provide an initial overview of the funding opportunities specifically dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises under the various sectoral programmes within the 2021-2027 EU Multiannual Financial Framework.

The seminar will be held on 19 September in Brussels, at the offices of the Confindustria Delegation.

The objective is to provide Italian businesses with preliminary information on opportunities linked to the upcoming programming period and on access procedures, with a view to laying the groundwork early and fostering high-quality participation in future calls for proposals.

The day will be structured into the following thematic sessions:

• Sectoral programmes supporting competitiveness in the 2021/2027 EU Multiannual Financial Framework

• Scenarios for the next institutional cycle with reference to EU policy for SMEs

• EU funding for SMEs: Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, InvestEU, and structural funds

The proceedings will be introduced by the Deputy Permanent Representative, Ambassador Michele Quaroni, and Matteo Borsani. Diego Mingarelli, Vice President of Piccola Industria, will also speak in his new capacity as Vice President of the SME & Entrepreneurship Committee at BusinessEurope.
