Opening date for the MiSE call for research and development projects on the circular economy has been postponed

The Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) has postponed the opening dates for the “Research and development projects for the circular economy” call for proposals, which aims to promote the research, development and testing of innovative solutions for the efficient and sustainable use of resources, in order to encourage the reconversion of production activities towards a circular economy model.

The pre-filling procedure for applications and attachments will be available from 30 November. Among other requirements, companies must attach to their application the certificate of availability to grant financing, which is required for access to the FRI as specified in the directorial decree of 5 August 2020. The submission of applications by companies will be possible from 10 December 2020, including in joint form.

Furthermore, please note that on 16 November an Addendum to the Agreement was signed, which governs the granting of subsidised FRI financing, containing the template for the certificate of availability to grant financing from participating lending banks.

The certificate template (Annex no. 2 to the Addendum) and the list of participating lending banks can be viewed by clicking here.
