On 22 September 2021, Confindustria Lombardia signed the renewal of the framework agreement with the main Italian banking institutions: Banco BPM, BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, Intesa Sanpaolo, and UniCredit.

Confindustria Lombardia and the leading banks have recognised the need to renew their collaboration by updating the agreement signed in 2019, in light of the changed economic conditions resulting from the pandemic and the ongoing industrial, economic, and social transformation, with the aim of supporting the recovery of the regional production system.
