The reopening of the application window for grant funding under the Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) schemes Brevetti+, Marchi+3 and Disegni+4 has been announced.

The overall measure aims to enhance trademarks and designs as well as to promote the patentability of technological innovations. The MiSE has decided to reopen the application window following numerous requests from SMEs that were unable to access the funding during the previous round due to the exhaustion of resources.

The additional allocation amounts to a total of 43 million euros, divided as follows:

• Marchi+3 scheme: reopening from 30 September 2020 (budget 4 million euros)
• Disegni+4 scheme: reopening from 14 October 2020 (budget 14 million euros)
• Brevetti+ scheme: reopening from 21 October 2020 (budget 25 million euros)
