The second Going International Day (GID) has concluded. These short training courses, promoted by Confindustria Lombardia in collaboration with UniCredit, are organised at local branch offices. The GID, titled “Digitalisation and E-commerce: two strategic aspects for tackling foreign markets”, was held on 9 June in Gallarate at the headquarters of the Varese Industrial Association and saw the participation of nearly fifty companies, many of which were based in Varese. Google presented a range of useful digital tools available to companies free of charge, which can be used to conduct ongoing analysis on how to position products more effectively in foreign markets:
Global Market Finder can calculate the search volume for a given product in various countries around the world, starting from a single keyword.
Google Analytics and Google Trends allow companies to identify their best markets by tracking the international origin of their customers and the performance of keywords over various time periods.
Consumer Barometer provides insights into how consumers use online and offline media channels throughout the journey from product research to purchase.
Google Business Map provides country profiles for 48 nations across 6 different continents, offering an
overview of key national facts and specific market knowledge.
Google Translate Plug-in and Google Translate Toolkit as advanced translation tools.
