New European Circular Economy Action Plan published

The European Commission, as part of the European Green Deal, has recently published a new Circular Economy Action Plan.

The action plan aims to make our economy fit for a green future, strengthen competitiveness while protecting the environment and granting new rights to consumers. The plan builds on the work carried out in 2015, focusing on the design and production of a circular economy, with the aim of ensuring that the resources used are kept in the EU economy for as long as possible. The plan and its related initiatives will be developed with the close involvement of the businesses and communities concerned.
