The IPA4SME (Boosting the use of Intellectual Property with an action specifically designed for Innovative SMEs) call for proposals is currently open for companies wishing to leverage and protect their intellectual property. The current cut-off (the seventh) expires on 17 November.
I beneficiari sono le PMI che hanno ottenuto il Seal of Excellence dal bando SME Instrument o EIC Accelerator.
The services available to companies are:
- IP Pre-diagnostics: personalised analysis of the SME's IP assets by experts, together with a tailored IP business strategy (free of charge).
- IP Protection Co-financing: partial reimbursement of costs associated with the IP registration process. This support is provided through two distinct services:
- Reimbursement of the EPO fee: for each EPO patent application, beneficiaries will receive 75% of the corresponding EPO fee, up to a limit of €2,500 per patent application. This service is limited to 5 applications per SME.
- Reimbursement of intellectual property attorney fees: for each patent application process, beneficiaries will receive 50% of the costs of their intellectual property attorney, up to €2,000. IP attorneys must be authorised to act before the EPO. There is no limit to the number of applications for this service, but each application must be associated with a unique patent application process.
Each SME may receive financial support up to a maximum of €15,000.
IPA4SME is a COSME action promoted by a consortium consisting of CARSA (lead and coordinating centre), the University of Alicante, and GOPAcom.
