The European Commission has recently announced an investment of €101.2 million for the latest integrated projects under the LIFE programme.
The funding will support projects in the following countries: Cyprus, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Spain.
Integrated projects aim to improve citizens' quality of life by helping Member States comply with EU legislation in six areas: nature, water, air, waste, climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation. Overall, the projects will support the European Green Deal, with the goal of making Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050.
