Creating new industrial value chains is essential for increasing the competitiveness of textile, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing businesses.
The GALACTICA project aims to develop and strengthen innovative value chains in the textile, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing sectors, with the goal of increasing the potential, competitiveness, and productivity of European SMEs and start-ups operating in these fields through specific calls for proposals.
Applications are currently open for two types of vouchers:
Pioneer Acceleration Vouchers: the objective is to support the exploration of new cross-sectoral value chains focused on the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that connects two or more of the target sectors. The maximum voucher value for a single project is 20,000 euros, and approximately 22 projects are expected to be funded. Applications may be submitted by individual entities or consortia.
Orbital Projects Vouchers: this aims to support the creation of functional demonstration prototypes applicable to new value chains that connect two or more sectors, while simultaneously funding the integration of innovative non-technological solutions to accelerate market readiness. The maximum voucher value for a single project is 100,000 euros, and approximately 12 projects are expected to be funded. Applications may only be submitted by consortia consisting of at least two SMEs operating in different sectors.
Applications were open until 30 March.
