On 27 September at 11:00 am, the Farnesina will host a presentation on the funding opportunities provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) to support Italian researchers and entrepreneurs in fostering industrial, scientific, and technological cooperation with the State of Israel. The event is aimed at Italian research centres and businesses interested in cooperation within the innovation and technology sectors.
The bilateral framework agreement for industrial, scientific, and technological cooperation between MAECI and the State of Israel has been in force since 2002. It provides funding for the co-financing of joint projects for the development of innovative technologies and scientific research. Joint laboratories are also eligible for funding. Over the last 15 years, the agreement has proven to be an excellent instrument for developing relations between the two countries in the fields of research and industrial development, enabling the co-financing of 115 industrial research and development projects, 58 bilateral basic research programmes developed by universities and research centres, and the establishment of 9 joint laboratories. In recent years, activities have been funded with over 2 million euros annually.
