Over 4 million to encourage the participation of new businesses in international trade fairs in Lombardy

The Lombardy Region has made €4,200,000 available to facilitate the participation of MSMEs in international trade fairs held within the regional territory.

The call for applications aims to create networking opportunities between Italian and foreign entrepreneurs, attract investment, promote commercial agreements, and support other active information and promotional initiatives aimed at potential foreign investors.

The grant is provided in the form of a non-repayable contribution as a percentage of eligible expenses (50% for applications covering 1 trade fair, 60% for 2 or more trade fairs, up to a maximum of €15,000; projects with expenses below €8,000 are not eligible.

Please note that participation in a specific trade fair is only permitted if the applicant company has not participated in the previous 3 editions for annual or more frequent trade fairs, or in the previous 2 editions for biennial or less frequent trade fairs.

Bonus points are available for start-ups and micro-enterprises.

Applications must be submitted from 10:00 on 19 November 2019 until the available funding is exhausted, and in any case at least 30 days before the start date of the first trade fair included in the project.
