We draw your attention to the PITCCH network, which aims to promote collaboration between large enterprises seeking excellent technologies and SMEs and Startups capable of developing innovative solutions. The project - funded under Horizon 2020 - aims to create a sustainable network supported by a digital platform where stakeholders can engage in collaborations based on Open Innovation.
PITCCH gathers innovation challenges from large companies and explores potential solutions from SMEs and startups. To increase the chances of effective deployment, technology centres act as intermediaries, providing brokerage and continuous support services to both parties.
Several large companies such as Saint-Gobain, Amorim Group, Procter and Gamble, KPN, Electrolux, Aptiv and EFACEC are already part of this European network.
The companies involved in the project will launch challenges addressing the following thematic categories:
Societal challenges:
Advanced technologies:
The platform will be available in December 2020 and the first challenges will be launched in February 2021. Large companies and SMEs/Startups can search the network, register and, respectively, launch challenges and submit potential solutions. In a later phase of the project, Technology Centres will also be able to register on the platform in order to provide brokerage services.
