From 15 to 18 October 2024, CEATEC 2024 will take place, Japan's largest and most renowned trade fair focused on digital innovation.
The event aims to showcase visions, concepts, technologies, products, and new ventures that utilise cutting-edge technologies to potential partners and clients from Japan and beyond.
At a joint EU-Japan Centre stand in the exhibition area, participants' products and technologies will be promoted, ensuring maximum visibility among trade fair visitors. Networking events will further increase opportunities to connect with potential business partners and clients.
The initiative is aimed at individuals working for SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups) or Clusters from the European Union, or a country associated with the Single Market Programme, SME Pillar, specialising in digital technologies (such as 5G, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, and Augmented Reality).
The mission will welcome 12 companies.
Applications are particularly encouraged from companies promoting digital innovation, the green transition, and establishing trust in digital technologies (cybersecurity and privacy).

Furthermore, candidates must:

• Work for a legal entity located in the European Union or a country associated with the Single Market Programme, SME Pillar;
• Be supported by their employer via a signed letter (if not part of senior management);
• Participate in the entire programme;
• Have a good command of English;
• Have proven experience in the sector.

Candidates will be evaluated based on the following selection criteria:

• The company's strategy regarding Japan;
• Innovative aspects of the product/technology/service offered by the company;
• Relevance to the trade fair.
