Quebec and United States mission_April 2017

As part of the “Support pathways in strategic markets” project by Regione Lombardia, a mission to Canada – Quebec focus and the United States – Silicon Valley focus will take place from 3 to 7 April 2017.

The business mission will focus on business meetings with relevant local entities and may include opportunities to meet with the institutional delegation, led by Vice President Fabrizio Sala.

Confindustria Lombardia is supporting the Region in its organisation and promotion, and, at the invitation of the Premier of Quebec, Philippe Couillard, will participate with the presence of President Alberto Ribolla, subject to unforeseen circumstances.

For companies:
It will be possible to join one or both stages:

3-4 April – Quebec – dedicated to the following sectors: aerospace, oil & gas, energy and renewables, automotive, machinery and equipment, contract, green economy, new technologies, research and innovation

6-7 April – Silicon Valley dedicated to the following sectors: ICT, new technologies, research and innovation, green economy, renewable energy, machinery and equipment, aerospace, construction, furniture and design, consumer goods, contract, agri-industry

The initiative is aimed at 20 SMEs, which will be selected via the attached notice published on the Unioncamere Lombardia website at http://www.unioncamerelombardia.it/?/menu-di-sinistra/Bandi---contributi-alle-imprese/Bandi-aperti.

They will receive free assistance for the organisation of the mission, B2B and matchmaking, interpreting services, and local transport (travel, food and accommodation costs remain the responsibility of the company).

The support pathway also includes (see attached slides):

A. specific promotional and training activities (cross-cutting training workshops on internationalisation and Business Country Focus sessions preparatory to the mission);

B. company support pathways;

C. follow-up support and monitoring of the results of B2B business meetings following the completion of the mission.

Registration details

To participate, companies must register at www.registroimprese.it and then submit their application from 10:00 on 30 January at http://webtelemaco.infocamere.it, following the instructions indicated in the selection notice and attaching the signed documents provided.

The deadline for the USA and Canada mission is 20 February
