The Lombardy Life Science Cluster promoted and participated in the Meet in Italy for Life Sciences initiative with 19 of its members. This annual sector networking event achieved the following results this year:

• 220 attendees at the conference on 13 October
• 357 participants in bilateral meetings (companies, researchers, investors, a 13% increase compared to 2016). 2,050 B2B meetings, of which 56% were international and 31% of participants were non-Italian.
• Approximately 90,000 profiles viewed on the website prior to the event
• 32 countries involved (compared to 29 countries in 2016)
• 21 organisers involved (national and regional)
