Today’s business models require, more than ever, complex management of logistics flows alongside ever-increasing levels of service, flexibility, and efficiency. This places new demands on aerospace supply chains, which must be organised efficiently and optimally, seeking to reduce waste, eliminate non-value-added activities, and shorten market response times.
It is with this objective that the Supply Chain Manager course was created, designed and organised by the Lombardia Aerospace Cluster, with the support of Univa Servizi, the service company of the Industrialists' Union of the Province of Varese, which developed it by leveraging a Lombardy Region call for tenders.
“This is a genuine supply chain project, designed to strengthen the existing ties between the various players in the Lombardy aerospace sector. It is a practical way of networking,” explains Cluster President Vallerani. “The strength of this course lies in bringing together in the classroom those professionals who manage supply chain issues within their companies, thereby fostering not only the learning of methodologies but also the development of a network of specialist contacts. Consequently, there will be both small and medium-sized enterprises and large industry players present. Everyone is at the same desks to grow together in terms of skills”.
