With 80% co-financing, theLombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster (LE2C), together with 8 other European partners, has won the “NESSIE: North Sea Solutions for Innovation in Corrosion for Energy” project worth a total of almost €850,000, funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund programme.
The project aims to identify new materials and industrially advanced technological solutions to address the issue of corrosion in structures for offshore renewable energy power plants, such as wind, tidal and wave energy. LE2C, responsible for project communication, will also carry out B2B activities in the Lombardy region, which will involve the participation of companies from Scotland, Belgium, Spain and Sweden.
