On 25 January, Confindustria Lombardia hosted the Premier of Quebec, Philippe Couillard.
The Premier invited Confindustria Lombardia to organise a business delegation to Quebec, in light of new investment programmes (Plan Nord and the Maritime Strategy). He emphasised the strategic importance of collaborating with a unique region like Lombardy, noting that strengthening cooperation with foreign markets in politically stable nations with advanced production systems is essential to increasing the value added of exported products. This approach is key to the economic recovery of the Province, a goal in which we are actively involved.

Quebec is highly attractive to Italian businesses due to its low operating costs, while Canadian companies are, in turn, drawn to our expertise.
