In 2018, the Lombardy Aerospace Cluster initiated abusiness networkingprogramme aimed at bringing together small and medium-sized enterprises from neighbouring regions to foster commercial exchange and, more importantly, to share innovation strategies and projects. The next stage will take place on 13 and 14 February 2020 in Varese, where the Lombardy Aerospace Cluster will host a delegation of French SMEs led by the Aerospace Cluster Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, a region that is part of the Four Motors for Europe and the Alpine Macro-region. This incoming visit follows the one held in Lyon in 2018, where the two clusters and their respective SMEs met for the first time. During the two-day event, there will be two site visits to local companies, Secondo Mona and Leonardo Aircraft Division, as well as pitch presentations and B2B meetings to facilitate networking and collaboration between Italian and French companies.
