The LE2C cluster presents the 2017-20 Strategic Plan

Milan, 20 October 2017 – The Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster (LE2C) has presented its 2017-20 Three-Year Strategic Plan and unveiled a refreshed brand identity: the new LE2C website is now live, featuring a completely redesigned layout and enhanced functionality.

“The 2017-20 Three-Year Strategic Plan,” explains Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster President Luca Donelli, “builds upon the experience of the 2014-15 Strategic Plan and the formalisation of working methods developed during 2016-17, which saw the entry of new stakeholders and the expansion into new subject areas. It represents an evolution of the cluster, aimed at fostering collaboration between businesses and research centres, defining structured processes, and encouraging bottom-up initiatives through networking events and special projects,” concludes Donelli.

Concurrently, the new LE2C logo has been launched. This change, requested and approved by the members, is intended to strengthen the LE2C brand and reflect the Cluster’s evolution: it incorporates the colours of the environment and energy (the two core pillars of the Cluster), represents the four Areas of Competence, symbolises the synergy and collaboration between the industrial and research sectors, and signifies an openness to external engagement and future partnerships.

Further information is available on the website regarding the four Areas of Competence where research centres and businesses work together to drive innovation, facilitate technology transfer, and create business opportunities.
