IFIB 2024: B2B opportunities at the international biotechnology forum

The prestigious International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) returns for its 14th edition, which will be held at the Fondazione Golinelli in Bologna. The event, organised by ART-ER as a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network, in collaboration with the SPRING Circular Bioeconomy Cluster and Innovhub-SSI, will take place on 3 and 4 October 2024.

This year, the conference will focus on the circular bioeconomy, with particular emphasis on industrial biotechnology as a key enabling technology. This year's edition will have a specific focus on biotechnological solutions applied to the agri-food sectors. The Italian Food Valley will become the global centre of gravity for the bioeconomy.

IFIB 2024 will offer five sessions of pre-arranged bilateral (B2B) meetings, connecting start-ups, companies, universities and public and private research centres in the sector.
Participants from across Europe and beyond will have the opportunity to explore collaborations, develop business, enter into licensing agreements, launch joint ventures, and share experiences and partnership opportunities.
