On 29 May, AFIL, the Lombardy Intelligent Factory Association, held its general assembly with an event titled “A FIL di rete – Lombardy’s manufacturing sector evolving through collaboration”. The meeting was attended by numerous AFIL members, as well as many companies and professionals interested in learning about the key topics addressed by the Cluster.
The highlight of the day was the awards ceremony for the first edition of “Cento4.0: excellence in advanced manufacturing in Lombardy”, a competition aimed at identifying the implementation of innovative 4.0 solutions within a corporate environment. From the 16 participants, the national evaluation committee selected 5: ATV, Automac, Rold, Saccheria F.lli Franceschetti, and Scame Parre. Following careful deliberation, the international judging panel awarded the prestigious prize to Saccheria F.lli Franceschetti for their ELI WMS, an innovative software for warehouse logistics management. The award was presented by Christoph Zanker, one of the creators of the competition’s German version, which served as the inspiration for Cento4.0.
