Additive manufacturing is finding increasing applications across numerous industrial sectors, with Italian manufacturers and businesses gaining significant prominence in this field and interest growing within our country.
These topics were addressed at the meeting held on 30 January at the Politecnico di Milano, organised by Messe Frankfurt Italia, in collaboration with the MADE Competence Center and supported by Formnext, with the patronage of the Lombardy Mobility Cluster and the Intelligent Factory Lombardy Association. Additive manufacturing is considered an enabling technology for Industry 4.0, with particular application in sectors such as automotive, aerospace and packaging.
The round table opened the 2020 calendar of roadshow meetings leading up to SPS Italia, the Italian trade fair for intelligent, digital and flexible industry, which will take place from 26 to 28 May 2020 in Parma.
