On 22 February, the tenth anniversary of the Lombardy Aerospace Cluster was celebrated. This organisation provides a unified voice for companies across all three flight platforms—helicopters, aircraft, and space—in their dealings with institutions, while supporting businesses in the technological transformation of their products and processes.
Over the past 10 years, the Cluster has achieved numerous successes: from being awarded the Bronze Label for Cluster Management Excellence in October 2014, to participating in all the sector's most significant international trade fairs.
During the morning, awards were presented to the founding companies of the Lombardy Aerospace District Promotion Committee (the original name of the LAC Cluster), as well as to the companies, universities, and research centres that have been members of the Cluster for at least 10 years.
On 17 April, it will be the turn of the Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster, which represents the Lombardy energy and environment production system, to celebrate 10 years of activity. To mark the occasion, LE2C is organising a full day dedicated to innovation and technology transfer, featuring B2B meetings open to companies, universities, and research centres. Attendees will also have the opportunity to book a meeting with the Europe Desk for assistance with accessing European funding and partner searches, as well as with the Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 desk for advice on accessing tax incentives and support for corporate digital transformation.
