The call for Horizon 2020 European energy efficiency projects opened on 25 January. With a budget of over €212 million for the 2018-2019 period, the secure, clean and efficient energy themes offer numerous opportunities for companies interested in applying for European funding.

Funding areas:

Projects eligible for funding include: building renovation; integrated building renovation services; energy performance assessment and certification; heat/cold recovery in the industrial waste sector; capacity building for energy audits; mainstreaming energy efficiency finance and its further innovation; new energy labelling; mitigation of household energy poverty; etc.
