The deadline for registering for the #EUvsVirus hackathon has been extended to 24 April.
The pan-European hackathon aims to connect innovators, partners and buyers directly from across Europe in order to develop innovative solutions for Covid-19. The event will take place on 24, 25 and 26 April and will be structured around problem categories requiring short-term solutions for coronavirus-related issues such as health and life, business continuity, remote working and education, social and political cohesion, digital finance and an open category for other challenges.
The hackathon will include all 27 EU Member States, as well as Norway, Israel, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Winning solutions will be invited to join a European Innovation Council platform to facilitate connections with end-users and will provide access to investors, foundations and other funding opportunities from across the European Commission.
