The European Commission has announced its attendance at Ecomondo, a key event focused on the green and circular economy taking place in Rimini from 5 to 8 November. The Commission’s participation will serve to present European opportunities in this field: the EASME (Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) will showcase several projects at its stand funded under this year’s four main themes: sustainable mobility, food waste, sustainable buildings, and plastics management. These projects, all managed by EASME, have received grant funding from one of the following programmes: Horizon 2020 Energy Efficiency, Horizon 2020 Environment, COSME, LIFE, EMFF, and the European Innovation Council pilot SME Instrument.
The Commission’s information activities will be complemented by info-sessions held on 7 November in the Ravezzi 1 room, which will be categorised by the four aforementioned opportunities. Furthermore, visitors will have the chance to meet individually with representatives from EASME and the Commission to receive clarification and further information.
