The second edition of the SME Fund is currently underway, established by the EUIPO – the European Union Intellectual Property Office – to provide financial support to EU SMEs wishing to protect their intellectual property rights.

Financial support is provided in the form of vouchers; the application window is open from 23 January 2023 to 8 December 2023, though it is important to note that funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Services:

1. IP pre-diagnosis services (IP Scan) – VOUCHER 1 (not available for Italy)
2. Protection of trade marks and designs – VOUCHER 2 Up to EUR 1,000 per beneficiary (for trade marks, designs, patents and plant varieties)
