The call for proposals “SOLSTICE - Enabling Societal Transformation in the Face of Climate Change”, which focuses on the social aspects of climate change, will be published in October. The call is promoted by the JPI Climate initiative with the support of Horizon 2020, and aims to generate - through interdisciplinary publications - knowledge that can have an impact on society and policy, triggering changes in behaviour and habits at all levels of society.
The call will address three themes: social justice and participation, sensemaking, cultural meaning and risk perception, and transformative finance and economy.
Eligible applicants are consortia composed of scientists from at least 3 participating countries: the (non-exhaustive) list includes Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Norway and the United Kingdom.
