Fiat Chrysler and Biobridges are seeking innovative and circular economy solutions for the automotive sector

The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Research Centre (CRF – FCA), in collaboration with Briodridges, is seeking innovative solutions that utilise biological materials and circular economy principles to produce more sustainable automotive components. The call is open to participation from:

  • Companies in the bioeconomy sector
  • SMEs
  • Start-ups
  • Research centres
  • Consortia participating in European projects.

Specifically, proposals with TRL 5-7 may be submitted for the following categories:

  • Bio-based polymers for exterior chassis
  • Plastics for engine compartments and chassis
  • Elastomers
  • Textile materials for linings and upholstery

To participate, you must submit a proposal relating to one or more of the above categories by 17:00 CET on 24/09/2020. Each participant may submit more than one solution for more than one category. To submit your application, please access the dedicated link.

The proposals received will be evaluated, and selected participants will be invited to attend an online event during which they will be required to deliver a pitch to representatives of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The online event is expected to take place on 27/10/2020; further information will be provided via the dedicated website.
