Fast Track to Innovation: results of the second cut-off date of 1 September 2015

Sono stati pubblicati i risultati della seconda cut-off datedel 1 settembre 2015 per il Fast Trak to Innovation Pilot del programma Horizon 2020. Sono state finanziate 15 progetti su 229 proposte ricevute che coinvolgono 67 partner provenienti da 15 Paesi. Tra i consorzi beneficiari la metà comprende piccole e medie imprese (PMI).

The European Commission will allocate approximately 3 million to each project, for a total of €32.7 million, in order to accelerate the market uptake of the innovative products presented.

11 Italian organisations are participating in 9 of the projects funded since the programme's inception. Of these, 3 have their registered and/or operational headquarters in Lombardy.

Among the funded projects are the design of an aerial device for combating forest fires; a method for the industrial-scale recovery and reuse of plastic from photovoltaic plants; the development of new diagnostics for the improved use of antibiotics; and the construction of an exoskeleton for the rehabilitation of patients with brain or spinal cord injuries.

The next deadlines for the Fast Track to Innovation are scheduled for 15 March, 1 June and 25 October 2016.
