
The European Commission has published the results for the fifth cut-off date, of 1 June 2016, for the Fast Track to Innovation Pilot call under Horizon 2020. Out of 280 proposals received, 15 were selected for funding, representing an average success rate of 5.4% and involving 70 partners from 19 countries. The European Commission will allocate a total of €32 million to the selected projects.
Among the 8 Italian entities involved in 5 of the funded projects is the Lombardy-based company ADR, acting as project coordinator for "TEKNOAX 2.0".
Since the launch of the Fast Track to Innovation pilot phase in January 2015, the Commission has received a total of 1,446 project proposals and selected 77 for funding, with a total financial contribution of over €166.5 million. Almost half of the participants in the projects are small and medium-sized enterprises.
The next deadline for the submission of proposals is 25 October 2016.
