On 28 September 2017, the NanoInnovation 2017 conference in Rome will host an Elevator Pitch for researchers, businesses, and startups wishing to present projects and ideas to an audience of academics and industry representatives, with the aim of securing investors and/or new partners.

Speakers will be selected by the NanoInnovation conference scientific committee, which will evaluate each project idea based on its level of innovation (max 20 points), industrial relevance (max 20 points), and alignment with the conference's thematic areas (max 10 points). Applications to speak must be submitted no later than 5 September by completing the application form via this link.

Pitches must fall within one of the following areas:

• FOOD AND AGRICULTURE

• ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

• HEALTH AND LIFE SCIENCES/BIOTECH

• SUSTAINABILITY, HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SOCIAL IMPACTS

• ELECTRONICS, MICRO AND NANOSYSTEMS

• NANO-MATERIALS BASED INNOVATION

• NANOMETROLOGY AND NANOSCALE MEASUREMENTS

• ADVANCED MANUFACTURING AND INDUSTRY 4.0

• CONSUMER AND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS

In parallel with the Elevator Pitch, a matchmaking (B2B) event will take place, for which you can register via the b2match website.
