The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has published the updated list of evaluators for the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument call, which can be downloaded at the bottom of this news item.

You may apply to become an expert evaluator by responding to the “Call for expression of interest” (for further information click here)

Furthermore, the list of experts who will interview companies admitted to the second evaluation step of Phase 2 of the SME Instrument has been published and can be viewed by clicking here .

This activity represents one of the changes introduced by the European Innovation Council , officially active since 2018, to the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument programme

• Phase 2 Interviews. Introduction of a second evaluation step via one-to-one interviews with experts, to be held in Brussels
• Bottom-up approach, where there will no longer be predefined topics
• Increased weighting of impact in project evaluation
• Raising the Phase 2 funding threshold to 13 points
