The European Innovation Council has selected 58 projects for the EIC Pathfinder Pilot call (cut-off 3 June) - which aims to transform high-risk, high-impact research ideas into viable new technologies - awarding a total of 191 million euros.
This call has set an all-time record for the Pathfinder scheme in every respect: it represents the largest budget ever secured, as well as the highest number of selected projects and applications (a total of 902) for this type of funding.
The highest number of successful projects come from Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Switzerland; almost 30% are women-led projects and 26% are focused on green themes in support of the European Green Deal objectives.
In addition to the funding, the selected projects will receive access to business acceleration support and coaching services.
The list of selected projects can be downloaded at the bottom of this news item.
