'European Regions as Engines of Growth' Conference

On 23 November, the conference “European regions as drivers of growth”, organised by Confindustria Lombardia, took place in Milan. The event, which was attended by President Maroni, Regional Minister Parolini, and representatives from the European Commission and the Confindustria network, forms part of the initiatives launched under the #Lombardia2030 Strategic Plan, focusing on the central role of Europe and its policies in fostering the growth of our businesses and regions. There were 80 participants, including SMEs, large enterprises, universities, regional stakeholders, and industry experts.

During the conference, the key achievements of the first two years of the SIMPLER - Enterprise Europe Network consortium were also presented, specifically the success stories of the companies Prophos Chemicals and Tensive, which secured funding through the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument programme with the support of Confindustria Lombardia.
