Confindustria Lombardia, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network activities, is promoting this consultation to enable businesses to share their experiences and perspectives with the Commission, thereby actively contributing to the formulation of European policies of interest to them.

This consultation is aimed at all businesses, particularly SMEs, associations and institutions that are directly or indirectly interested and/or involved in the matter. Every operator will have the opportunity to respond to the questionnaire proposed by the Commission, thereby actively contributing to the formulation of European policies of interest to them.

The European Commission is conducting an impact assessment of potential strategic measures, such as the Ecodesign regulation, regarding the environmental impact of enterprise servers and data storage devices.

The objective of this consultation is to:

- gather specific information on the role of SMEs and the significance of enterprise servers and data storage devices in the market;

- gain an in-depth understanding of how SMEs perceive the environmental impacts (such as energy consumption) of these products;

The consultation is based on an online questionnaire to be completed at this link by 30 June 2016.
