Confindustria Lombardia, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network activities, is promoting a European consultation on the principles and guidelines regarding legislation on food contact materials.

The objective of the Commission is to gather the views and concerns of SMEs regarding current legislation (Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004). In particular, the evaluation aims to determine the extent to which the current EU legislative framework governing food contact materials is fit for purpose and delivering the expected results, as well as to identify any unforeseen impacts or issues that have emerged as a result of the existing legislation.
