Confindustria Lombardia is seeking a Senior Officer - Head of European Projects and Funding

Role purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for the programming, monitoring, evaluation, and control of intervention programmes funded by European structural funds.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Economics or a scientific field;
Proven experience of three to five years in the planning and management of projects funded directly by European programmes (specifically Horizon/COSME), including the proposal preparation phase and interim and final financial reporting;
In-depth knowledge of EU regulations and policies, and the financial and accounting management mechanisms of structural funds;
Competence in Programme Management, Project Management, and Risk Management;
Excellent command of the English language;

Duties and responsibilities

Enterprise Europe Network project lead, responsible for coordinating, managing, and planning team activities;
Achievement of project KPIs
Monitoring and expertise regarding European, national, and regional research and innovation programmes;
Guidance and advisory services for businesses on calls for proposals and funding opportunities for Research and Innovation, identifying international partners for the development of European partnerships, and technology transfer activities;
Fundraising support for start-ups;
Support services for improving innovation management and business sustainability through European-certified assessments;
