The call for applications for the China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week, which will take place in China from 13 to 17 November 2017, has been published. The main event will be held in Beijing, with two regional legs in Chengdu and Guiyang.
The China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week is the primary Italian platform for scientific and technological cooperation with China, aimed at fostering scientific, technological, and industrial partnerships within innovative research-to-business contexts.
The programme, which incorporates the China-Italy Innovation Forum (CIIF – 8th edition) and the Sino-Italian Exchange Event (SIEE – 11th edition) in a back-to-back format, will take place in China from 13 to 17 November. It will feature a main event in Beijing and two sub-forums in the cities of Chengdu and Guiyang.
Who can participate: businesses and all public and private entities (research centres, universities, innovation districts, business-research clusters, science and technology parks, trade associations, etc.) based in Italy that are active in product and process innovation or scientific and technological research, and are interested in engaging with potential clients or partners in the People's Republic of China.
How to participate: Participation in the event, one-to-one meetings, and working sessions is free of charge but is subject to registration on the ITALYmatchmaking platform and subsequent confirmation by the Città della Scienza organising committee.
The deadline for registration is 15 October for those interested in participating in one-to-one meetings, while general registration for the event will remain open until 30 October.
We encourage all interested parties to register as soon as possible, as an initial batch of participation requests will be sent to the Chinese organisers by the end of July to allow them to begin the process of engagement and matching with potential Chinese partners.
