A total of 352 proposals were received for the latest H2020 Energy Efficiency call, which aims to accelerate the market uptake of energy efficiency solutions.
Until 10 September, it was possible to submit proposals across 10 topics concerning services, consumers, innovative financing, buildings, public authorities, and policy support. The total budget allocated to the call is 64 million euros, while the total requested is 759 million.
The proposals will be evaluated over the coming months, with successful applicants notified in January
Please note that from 2021, this call will formally transition into the new LIFE programme (2021-2027). A LIFE sub-programme dedicated to the clean energy transition will be established, aiming to facilitate the transition towards an energy-efficient, renewable energy-based, climate-neutral and resilient economy; to this end, coordination and support actions will be funded across Europe.
