
The final Horizon 2020 call for the “Science with and for Society” programme is now open. The call aims to structure effective collaboration between science and society to recruit new talent for science and to combine scientific excellence with social awareness and responsibility.
There are fourteen thematic categories, twelve of which involve a single-stage evaluation process, while the remaining two require a two-stage evaluation process.
The total budget allocated for this call is €63.20 million, broken down as follows: €55.7 million for single-stage topics and €7.5 million for two-stage topics.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is 15 April 2020 in both cases.
The names of the successful projects in the first group (single-stage evaluation) will be made public on 16 July, while those in the second group (two-stage evaluation) are expected to be announced in early 2021.
