MISE Digital Transformation Call: €100 million for the technological and digital transformation of SMEs

On 1 October, the Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) defined the terms and procedures for submitting applications for funding under the Digital Transformation call for proposals, established by the Growth Decree.

The call aims to support the technological and digital transformation of production processes for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises through the implementation of projects focused on adopting the enabling technologies identified in the National Enterprise 4.0 Plan, as well as other technologies related to digital supply chain solutions.

Projects must be carried out at a production facility located within the national territory and involve expenditure of no less than €50,000 and no more than €500,000; furthermore, they must be started after the application for funding has been submitted and have a duration of no more than 18 months.

The total budget for the call is €100 million: for each project, the percentage of eligible costs and expenses is 50%, of which 10% is in the form of a grant and 40% as a subsidised loan.

Applications, which will be subject to a first-come, first-served evaluation procedure, may be submitted exclusively via the online portal starting from 12:00 on 15 December
