Regione Lombardia has published the “MANUNET 2017 Lombardia” call for proposals as part of the joint transnational “MANUNET Transnational Call 2017”. This action is part of the MANUNET III initiative, an ERA-NET project co-funded by the European Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. The objective is to fund cross-regional innovation projects in the advanced manufacturing sector based on the following criteria:
- Eligible Applicants. SMEs, large enterprises, and research organisations.
- Partnership. Projects must be submitted by a consortium of at least 2 legal entities from two different member states participating in the programme, including at least 2 SMEs. The programme aims to fund small-to-medium-sized projects with consortia consisting of no more than 4-5 partners;
- Type of funded activities. Funding will be provided for industrial research and industrial development activities in the advanced manufacturing sector, in accordance with Regional Law 26/2015 (Manufacturing 4.0) and the Regione Lombardia S3 Strategy – Advanced Manufacturing;
- Duration. 24 months
- Grant. A maximum of €150,000 per participating Lombardy-based entity, up to a maximum of €300,000 per project if there is more than one participant from Lombardy involved in the same project. Activities will be co-funded according to the percentages specified in the call for proposals.
- Deadlines. The project requires a two-stage submission process, with the deadline for Phase I on 17 March. Those who pass the first stage will be invited to submit their Phase II application by 12 July 2017.
