The second call for the INNOWWIDE programme – part of the Horizon 2020 initiative – has been published to support the internationalisation of SMEs and innovative start-ups. With a total budget of €4.2 million, the call will fund the implementation of “viability assessment projects” (VAPs) designed to validate new export concepts intended for non-EU markets.
Specifically, INNOWWIDE will enable successful applicants to cover the costs of preliminary technical assessments (market, economic, and legal) required to validate the new export strategy they intend to develop. Regarding funding, each successful project will receive a maximum of €60,000, representing 70% of the costs incurred, which must be no less than €86,000.
Applications may be submitted from 15 January to 31 March 2020 directly via the INNOWWIDE portal. The announcement of results and the signing of grant agreements are scheduled for late June 2020.
